Covid testing is important in reducing the spread of Covid-19. This article will provide resources and links to where you can get a Covid test in Las Vegas. You can get them from Concierge MD’s in-home Covid testing service, from clinics, and you can purchase DIY (do-it-yourself) rapid antigen Covid test kits from pharmacies.

Covid Tests From Concierge MD

At Concierge MD, we offer three different types of Covid tests.

Our rapid antigen test is a nasal swab test that will give you results in 15 minutes. It works by detecting viral proteins that indicate whether or not you are currently infected with Covid.

Our standard PCR test is another test used to determine if you are currently infected with Covid. PCR stands for polymerase chain reaction test. This test looks for genetic material from the virus. It is the most accurate Covid test available. You can expect to get your results in 1-2 business days.

Our rapid PCR test combines high accuracy with rapid results. Expect to get your results in 2-4 hours.

We come to you, so you do not need to commute anywhere and risk exposing yourself or others to Covid. Trained professionals perform our tests, so you do not need to worry about inaccurate results from a test that you may have administered incorrectly.

Covid Tests From Local Clinics

There are four local clinics in Las Vegas that offer Covid testing.

The Southern Nevada Health District is open for Covid testing Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to noon. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Covid vaccines are also available at this location.

Nevada Partners offers free Covid testing on the second and fourth Wednesday of each week from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment is required. They also offer Covid vaccines.

OptimuMedicine offers Covid tests every Sunday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are required. Testing is free at this location. No vaccines are available here.

The College of Southern Nevada Charleston Campus offers Covid testing every Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every Wednesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m. Appointments are required. Testing is free, but there are no Covid vaccines offered.

DIY Covid Tests From Pharmacies

DIY rapid tests are available from pharmacies. Walgreens and CVS both offer home test kits.
