How does in-office testing for businesses work?

One of our nurses arrives at your business and sets up a testing area, usually in a private room where possible. There, they will administer the nasal swab and/or antibody test to each participating employee. After the results are collected, they are sent to the lab for analysis with results generally returning within 3 days.

Who can see the results of in-office testing for businesses?

Both the employee and employer can see the results of the test or tests performed. All employees who are tested sign a content form prior to the procedure.

What should I do if an employee tests positive?

If one of your employees tests positive after a nasal swab test, check the CDC’s latest recommendations for businesses.

Antigen Test FAQ’s

Should I get an Antigen test or a PCR test?

It depends on your circumstances. If you’re showing symptoms, an antigen test can quickly determine if you have the virus and need to self-quarantine. If you’ve been in contact with someone who had COVID-19 but aren’t showing symptoms, the PCR test may be the better choice due to its higher accuracy.

Ultimately, we recommend that you consult with your doctor about which test is right for you.

How quickly will I receive the results of an Antigen test?

You will generally receive the results of your antigen test within an hour of your appointment.

Are COVID-19 antigen tests accurate?

COVID-19 antigen tests are very accurate when they return positive results. However, this test does have a higher rate of returning false negatives than the PCR nasal swab test, which is sent to a lab for processing.
