The nasal swab test is performed to detect a current active infection.
One of our licensed clinicians will perform the test which involves either a nasal swab or a blood draw to collect the sample.
We provide testing in the following states: CA, NY, and FL.
Primex Clinical Labs and LabCorp.
We do not accept health insurance for the Covid Testing itself. However, for PCR tests, the lab processing fee is 100% covered by most PPO insurance plans, as well as all Kaiser plans. You can find the list of healthcare providers in-network here.
The CDC no longer recommends the deep nasopharyngeal swab over the shorter anterior nasal swab for diagnosis, which is why labs such as LabCorp are now distributing the shorter anterior nasal swabs.
These tests are approved under the FDA Emergency Use Authorization program.
Your lab test will take 24 – 48 hours. Your results will be available within 48 – 72 hours of the initial test.
For any questions regarding test results please email – [email protected]
Tests are performed by licensed nurses.
Swab Test – LabCorp does not provide data on the accuracy of the tests but has met testing criteria under the FDA’s emergency use authorization
Antibody (Blood Draw) – Our labs use Abbott testing. Abbott does not provide data on the accuracy of the tests but has met testing criteria under the FDA’s emergency use authorization.
Please follow CDC Guidelines for any positive results. Concierge MD will also schedule you a phone consult with a medical provider to review results and provide additional guidance.

Antibody tests can help reveal past exposure by detecting antibodies in the blood, which are produced in response to a specific infection like COVID-19. Read more about COVID-19 on the CDC’s website.
One of our registered nurses will perform the sample collection. The test sample is then delivered to a CLIA-certified lab for processing.
Your lab test generally takes 48 hours for processing. Results are typically available within 48-72 hours.
Testing positive indicates that you have likely contracted COVID-19 in the past, even if you never showed any symptoms or have already recovered. Antibody testing should not be used for diagnosis or infection status.
Testing negative for antibodies indicates that you are unlikely to have been infected with COVID-19 in the past.
Testing positive for antibodies indicates that you have likely contracted COVID-19 in the past.

One of our nurses arrives at your business and sets up a testing area, usually in a private room where possible. There, they will administer the nasal swab and/or antibody test to each participating employee. After the results are collected, they are sent to the lab for analysis with results generally returning within 3 days.
Both the employee and employer can see the results of the test or tests performed. All employees who are tested sign a content form prior to the procedure.
If one of your employees tests positive after a nasal swab test, check the CDC’s latest recommendations for businesses.
It depends on your circumstances. If you’re showing symptoms, an antigen test can quickly determine if you have the virus and need to self-quarantine. If you’ve been in contact with someone who had COVID-19 but aren’t showing symptoms, the PCR test may be the better choice due to its higher accuracy.
Ultimately, we recommend that you consult with your doctor about which test is right for you.
You will generally receive the results of your antigen test within an hour of your appointment.
COVID-19 antigen tests are very accurate when they return positive results. However, this test does have a higher rate of returning false negatives than the PCR nasal swab test, which is sent to a lab for processing.
