What is concierge medicine?
Concierge medicine provides personalized healthcare and well-being services directly from licensed medical practitioners which are administered in your home, office, even a hotel room. Services range from examinations, preventative care, chronic disease management, specialist referrals, lab tests, and most basic in-office procedures.
How does a concierge doctor differ from a traditional primary care physician?
A concierge doctor shares the same training and licensing as traditional primary care physicians. Concierge doctors typically have fewer patients and appointments can be scheduled sooner, often on the same day no matter where you are nation-wide. Concierge doctors also offer proactive health maintenance and you spend more time with your concierge doctor discussing your health concerns and goals.
What services are typically included in a concierge medicine membership?
Concierge MD offers services in three main categories: longevity, primary care, and urgent care. With a focus on preventative healthcare, you can choose from three monthly or yearly plans. Each plan has a personal care coordinator and a range of services to meet your individual needs. With monthly or quarterly visits, comprehensive testing, and access to specialists, medicines, and cutting-edge science, your private, in-home healthcare (or nation-wide virtual consultations) ensure your well-being and care.
Is concierge medicine covered by insurance?
Concierge MD does not accept insurance and provides you with all the documentation needed for you to submit to your healthcare insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Savings Accounts (FSAs) can be used to pay for membership. You can enter your account number when you schedule an appointment.
How much does concierge medicine typically cost?
Our basic plan is $499 a month. The premium plan is $799 a month and the Executive plan is $1,199 a month. You can save 20% on any plan when paying on an annual basis.
Can I see a concierge doctor without a membership?
Concierge doctor appointments are a key component of our personalized healthcare services. While access to concierge doctors are through membership, we offer a free 15-minute, no obligation phone consultation with a licensed medical practitioner so that you can share your health concerns, ask questions, and get personal insights for starting your health journey.
Are concierge doctors available 24/7?
Our network of nation-wide concierge doctors means a doctor may be available outside of normal business hours for where you are located for a phone, email or text response. Depending on your location, in-home visits are available seven days a week. Same day or next day appointments are often available.
What are the benefits of having a concierge doctor?
A concierge doctor can offer more personalized healthcare with longer sessions to address your health concerns and goals. Concierge doctors also focus on preventative healthcare and well-being in addition to any medical issues that may arise. Many patients enjoy the convenience of in-home concierge doctor visits and faster access to healthcare.
Who is concierge medicine best suited for?
Concierge medicine is well suited for individuals with busy schedules and for individuals who are seeking a more personal doctor-patient relationship. Concierge medicine is also ideal for patients with chronic illnesses where more frequent and on-going care is required.
